The engineering and technology multinational specialising in aeronautics and defence is taking part in a new edition of Expodefensa, the International Defence and Security Trade Fair, which will be held in Bogota, Colombia between 30 November and 2 December.

• AERTEC Solutions presents its TARSIS RPAS platform, a high-technology tactical lightweight unmanned aircraft designed for observation and surveillance applications, along with its entire specialised portfolio of on-board systems for the aerospace and defence industry.

• The firm have its own exhibition space in hall 17 of the show and is taking part in the event to establish contacts with potential clients and partners in Colombia and Latin America, strengthen its strategic positioning and analyse the industry's new business opportunities in the continent.

1 December 2015.- AERTEC Solutions, the engineering and technology multinational specialising in aerospace and defence, has a presence in the world's large aeronautical programmes and is targeting international growth for its business line dedicated to designing and developing embedded systems for the aerospace and defence industry.

With this in mind, the company is taking part in a new edition of Expodefensa, the International Defence and Security Trade Fair, between 30 November and 2 December, which is held on an annual basis in Bogota, Colombia, where the company is presenting its specialised products and services portfolio for the industry. More specifically, the company is introducing to the Latin American market its TARSIS light aerial platform, a versatile high-performance solution which allows for a variety of configurations and missions. It is a high-technology light tactical remotely piloted aircraft (UAV/RPAS) designed for observation, surveillance and micro-missile integration applications.

TARSIS has been added to the company's portfolio of embedded system solutions. It has a wingspan of 5.2 metres, a length of 2.9 metres and can be operated from both a conventional runway as well as from a catapult with a parachute and airbags. The aircraft's maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of 65 kg, maximum payload of 12 kg and range of between 8 and 15 hours stand out among its features.

The company is present at the event with its own stand in hall 17 and is presenting other innovations in unmanned aircraft control and guidance systems and, in general terms, its entire specialised portfolio in aerospace and defence systems. The company aims to establish contacts with potential industry clients and partners in Colombia and Latin America, strengthen its strategic positioning and analyse new business opportunities in the continent.
